Prague Folklore Dinner

Friday evening, Joe and I went to a Folklore Dinner. We rode the bus about a half hour away to a quaint little restaurant located in a rustic country hall in a small Bohemian village. The place we went is purportedly popular with the locals, so we figured it would likely be a good experience, and we weren't disappointed. There was a lively ensemble of dancers, singers, and musicians in traditional Czech dress. During the dinner, they occasionally encouraged one or more of our group to join the dancing up front. We enjoyed great conversation with our table mates: Ed and Elizabeth from Atlanta. The food was good, and was accompanied by free-flowing beer and wine. It was a true taste of the Czech culture that, as advertised, captured the spirit of Bohemia.
